MiniMessage formatting - PerPlayerKit

Messages use , not the old . Tags wrap text, close with a matching slash tag, and nest.

MiniMessage reads < as a tag opener. Escape a literal one: \<slot>.

Placeholders use {name}: {player}, {slot}. A literal %player% is the old style.
