Automatic rekit gives gear after a respawn or kill. Each trigger can restore the last loaded kit or choose a public kit by location. Both apply silently, without load messages or broadcasts. Both can also restore the last loaded enderchest kit. Players need the trigger permission and permission for the kit type being loaded. perplayerkit.use includes these permissions.

Restore the last loaded kit

Leave kits: {} under the trigger. PerPlayerKit remembers the last personal or public inventory kit the player manually loaded. The inventory kit selection and enderchest slot are saved in your configured storage. They survive reconnects and server restarts. A player who has never loaded a kit receives nothing for that inventory.

Choose a public kit by location

Use the same kits format under rekit.respawn and rekit.kill. Here, kits: is a fixed setting name. The keys inside this particular map are your world and region names, and their values are public kit IDs:
config.yml
These examples use bundled public kit IDs. Each kit needs saved contents. See Public kits. This map chooses which kit to give. The feature names under locations: choose which action to restrict. Here, world_nether selects crystal throughout the Nether. Inside its sword_arena region, players receive sword instead. Replace the world and region names with your own. Mappings select a kit; they do not limit where rekit runs. Use location rules to allow rekit only in particular worlds or regions.

Which kit wins?

Location rules run first. If the action is allowed, PerPlayerKit chooses in this order:
  1. A matching region mapping, with the highest WorldGuard priority.
  2. A mapping for the current world, when no region mapping matches.
  3. The player’s last loaded kit, when neither matches.
WorldGuard parent regions also participate, including template parents. Only regions with kit mappings compete. Equal priorities use alphabetical region ID order. Config entry order does not affect region priority. For example, overlapping sword_arena and crystal_arena mappings use whichever region has higher priority. Equal priorities select crystal_arena. WorldGuard priorities choose between kits here. They do not override an allow or deny location filter. A configured kit does not replace the remembered selection. The next regear or unmapped automatic rekit still uses the last manually loaded kit. Mapping keys and public kit IDs ignore case. Older nested values such as kit: sword remain accepted; use plain IDs for new entries. Restart after changing the config. Use /perplayerkit location rekit-respawn or /perplayerkit location rekit-kill to check the current location and kit choice. See Worlds and regions for region setup, overlaps, and troubleshooting.
